Tata Communications gains on the buzz of planning to invest $50 million in cyber security services business

Tata Communications is currently trading at Rs. 671.30, up by 5.85 points or 0.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 665.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 666.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 673.50 and Rs. 665.35 respectively. So far 4541 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 784.00 on 17-Mar-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 570.45 on 10-Aug-2017.

Tata Communications is reportedly planning to hire 400 people and invest $50 million in cyber security services business in next three years. The company is gradually establishing a global presence that provides customers advanced insights on cyber security threats.

The company looking to add cyber response centres across the APAC region (Singapore), Middle East, USA and the UK to be able to help customers in these geographies with handling their security infrastructure.
